Biography

Derek is a Senior Principal in the Albany, NY office. He works closely with wealth advisory teams to provide support with investment operations and trading. 

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Derek worked as a Senior Vice President of Investment Operations & Trading at Graypoint, a comprehensive financial planning and wealth management firm based in the Capital Region of New York. Prior to Graypoint, Derek served as Vice President and Business Unit Manager for both the Private Wealth Management and Investment Professional departments at Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company. Before Ayco, Derek worked for Putnam Investments in Boston, MA.
